About Me
Diagnosed with AL Amyloidosis in 2016, I am navigating my new normal as a chronically ill mom.
For two years I had weekly chemotherapy and was part of a clinical trial. Now done treatment, I am being monitored and am so grateful for my healing!
I started this blog to spread awareness and hope, and to connect with others facing chronic illness. My hope is that by sharing my story I can help make someone else’s journey just a little bit easier.
When I received my diagnosis(after the shock wore off) I made the decision to live a happy, meaningful life. I choose to focus on the good and try to find joy wherever I can.
I accept that I can’t change my circumstances. But I can control my reaction and set myself up for success.
I am a florist and love creating all things crafty. I also love to cook, even if it’s sometimes challenging with my many dietary restrictions.
If I can help just one person by sharing all that I experience in facing this crazy disease, I’ll be happy! So welcome, I hope you find something useful here…
Sending love and healing thoughts!
